Happy Halloween

Edited on 10/30/2018I’m thrilled that this tag was picked as Top 3 by The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge.
Thanks you, DTs, you made my day.

Hello Artsy Friends,

I’m super excited and honored to be the Featured Guest Designer for Stamps and Stencils’ October Challenge - Spooky Fun with an Autumnal twist. I'd like to thank Stamps and Stencils DTs for choosing my tag as the Winner and inviting me as Guest Designer.

I must confess that I’m not really into the spooky things, especially that I don’t have little children around me for some years. Yet I’ve decided to challenge myself to create an Autumnal tag with some spooky elements. It’s fun to explore something out of my comfort zone.

For details of how I made my tag, please check out my Guest Designer Post.

Hope my non-traditional Halloween tag is eye-pleasing and inspirational to you. Please do check out the Challenge Blog for more inspirations from the talents DTs and join us for the fun.

If you like my tag, please do let me know. Thanks for stopping by and wish you a great day.

    Wherever You Go

    Hi Stamping Friends,

I have very few MEN-themed stamps. Besides I wanted to challenge myself to create a masculine tag with warm and pretty color scheme to echo the coming Autumn. The following is how I made my tag.

    1. Scribble several Distress randomly on tag.

2.Use a piece of baby wipe to spread the colors.

    3. Apply Distress Oxide Inks over Leave Stencil (Tim Holtz) on tag.

    4. Stamp Wherever You Go Collage stamp (produced by Paperbag Studios yet discontinued) with Black Archival Ink on tag.

    5. Apply Texture Paste (Tim Holtz) over Clock Stencil (The Crafters’ Workshop) on tag.

    6. Die cut leaves (Tim Holtz) and Distress Oxide Inks on leaves.

    7. Attached leaves on tag and finalize the tag.

I hope this non-traditional MEN-Themed tag is eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by and wish you a great day.

    Wishing You Everything Good

Edited on 2/8/2019I can't believe this card won the following awards.
Oh my, this is indeed fourfold happiness and excitements. Thanks for all the talented DTs, you made my day again.

    Hi Artsy Friends,

Direct marker coloring and heat embossing are the very techniques that I learned when I first entered the stamping world. The floral and text stamps are old Hero Arts stamps. The subtle Aida Cloth background is an old Stampin’ Up stamp. Hmm, this card made me feel going back to basics and nostalgia even though the colors are bright. Hope this CAS card is eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by and wish you a great day.

Honestly speaking, I am not sure what MESSY really means. It’s dumb, I know. Ha! I thought something dark, dirty or muddy might qualify as MESSY and this tag is what I came up with. For me, this is really a challenge because I tend to use pretty and bright color schemes. I'm delighted that I challenged myself to go beyond my comfort zone. Hope this tag with galaxy background is eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by and wish you a great day.
